Presented by Trinity College London academic experts, the series is aimed at English language teachers looking to continue their professional development, particularly those preparing learners for ISE or GESE. There will be a strong focus on skills and language development, with a firm eye on how new developments are shaping the way we teach and learn English. With participants connecting with us last year from every corner of the planet, the webinars are a truly international training environment, where a community of teachers can share their experiences and perspectives.
This year we are teaming up with the Future of ELT conference to bring themes and issues raised at the event direct to your screen with interviews and videos from the day. Leading up to the conference in London on 15 June 2019, we invited people in our Transformative Teachers network to send in their Future A-Z of ELT video clips, telling us what they thought would be significant for language teachers and teacher trainers in the coming years.
Each webinar after the event will explore particular themes raised by speakers in the presentations and workshops on the day. As the last eight webinars in the series will be built around recordings of presentations and interviews with presenters at the conference, full details for these will be available shortly after the conference.
