On Saturday, 15 June 2019, Trinity College London and Regent's University London held the 4th annual Future of English Language Teaching conference in London. Delegates around the UK and abroad participated in workshops and presentations on themes pertinent to English Language teachers. The vision was simple: to offer very high quality CPD to English teachers, working with both world-leading figures and local experts, exploring central themes relating to the future of ELT.
The objective of the event was to help teachers improve their skills and practices through easy access to professional teacher-training. Trinity College London and Regent’s University were delighted to receive an Award for the 2018 Future of English Language Conference from The Fair List organisation. The Award was presented by Tessa Woodward from The Fair List to representatives from Trinity College London and Regent’s University in recognition of the gender balance of the speaker panel they had jointly assembled for the 2018 Future of English Language Conference hosted in London last summer.
Trinity and Regent’s University have also been recognised by EVE (Equal Voices in ELT) with an ‘EVE of the Year’ purple category award for the gender balance of its 2018 Future of ELT Conference speaker line up. This year we were delighted to have women presenting in all 4 plenaries. Find out more here.
