Trinity ESOL Skills for Life (QCF) qualifications are changing. The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) has been replaced by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

By December 2017, all regulated qualifications listed on the RQF must include details of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and Total Qualification Time (TQT) in their description. Trinity has taken this opportunity to consult with stakeholders and make some revisions to our exams. The last date for exams prepared in accordance with QCF specifications is 30 November 2017.  Trinity's ESOL Skills for Life RQF exams will be available from 1 December 2017.

Our RQF Briefings in September will help you become familiar with the changes.
Operational and academic updates about the refreshed exams will be provided and you will have the opportunity to meet with key members of our UK ESOL team.

• Leeds: Friday 22 September 1.30pm - 4.30pm at The Studio
• London: Friday 29 September 1.30pm - 4.30pm at Park Crescent Conference Centre

• 1.30-1.45: Welcome and introduction to Trinity’s RQF exams-UK ESOL team members
• 1.45-2.15: Operations briefing - Alex Stone, Team Leader, Operations
• 2.15 - 3.15: Academic briefing - Janet Golding, Academic Support Manager
• 3.15 - 3.30: Q and A with Trinity UK ESOL team
• 3.30 - 3.50: Refreshments and surgery style option with Trinity UK ESOL team 
• 3.50 - 4.20: Sharing best practice for preparing candidates: led by teaching staff from locally based Trinity centres
• 4.20- 4.30: Closing remarks/ next steps
