In partnership with the Musicians' Union, we will be offering practical workshops, networking and the chance to access some of the fantastic Music for Youth Festival events.

Learning outcomes

Adam Saunders at the Trinity College London ConventionsOur keynote session and practical workshops will explore approaches to music that focus on:

  • choice
  • wellbeing
  • accessibility

The emphasis will be on ensuring that our approaches to teaching develop the whole musician. We will look at how music teaching has real world relevance, providing a pathway to the creative industries.

A keynote from Adam Saunders

Adam Saunders - the keynote speaker at the Trinity College London ConventionsAdam Saunders is a composer, pianist and educator based in London, UK. He works with many of the UK's leading music organisations.

In 2016, Adam composed the music for a brand new musical, 'Grace'. In 2017, his composition, 'Speak Up, Speak Out' was performed by 1,200 children in the Royal Albert Hall. An active performer, Adam has played in some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall and Ronnie Scott's.
